Hi, I'm a 20 year old girl from the not so sunny Netherlands. You would probably recognize me with a camera in front of my eyes, taking photos of everything that she likes. Including my boyfriend, Tim. ♥

27/365 - Capturing moments
And today was a marvelous day! I got two packages! I finally got my print of Corinne Alexandra! I'm so happy and in love with it. She is one big inspiration for me and I feel so lucky that I had the chance to buy a print of hers.
+2 photos, my print from Corinne Alexandra and a super cheap ring from Ebay. I couldn't resist the cuteness! Too bad that it's way too small for my fingers.. I really have the weirdest vingers. :')

24/365 - Perfection the imperfection
This is kind of an experiment. I tried to capture my imperfections in
a beautiful way. In my opinion my back/shoulders and my belly are my
imperfections. I might have more, but these two are standing out and
are making me insecure the most. I don't have a slim and feminine back
with narrow shoulders. And it will stay this way, so I should embrace
my body instead of hating it. Same for my belly, I always have had
troubles with it, especially now because of my health problems. I have
IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and I have trouble with eating food. My
belly get swollen easily and it pretty much hurts every other day.
It's also one of the places I always have felt insecure about because
everyone wants a flat tummy right?
Anyway I made this because I want to change my mind. I want to get
body positive.
And I will warn you, I don't respect any creepy comments or creeps in
general, I will block you!

Today I photographed my best friend, she is the loveliest person I know. She is so honest and truly stunning. Although she doesn't believe she is this gorgeous. Please tell her.

Today I went shopping with a
friend of mine so I didn't had much time to take any special
photographs. And at this point I'm a bit disappointed with some photos.
And I know I should let it go.. So this quote that I saw is pretty good
for this situation and how I feel.

I didn't have enough energy left to edit and upload the photos
yesterday.
I went thrifting with Tim and we visited a friend who has his own
apartment right now with his girlfriend. Ugh, after seeing his place
all finished, I can't wait till I get my own place with Tim.
So yesterday was a lazy day, I didn't feel like photographing anything
special.

Today was a pretty good day, although I had a really bad mood. It's
such a struggle to find a good place to photograph in Tim's house. The
rooms are narrow, dark or there is simply too much stuff in it so that
I can't put my tripod in it. I need to figure out what place is best
to photograph and I should kick myself and go out more often. But now
that Tim has work (yaaaay!), I have to do everything alone. And that
shouldn't be a big problem, but I have to get used to it.

Sorry, another busy, boring day. I was at school today from 9.30 and I was home around 5 o'clock. So I made some photos at school. Yep, that's my school haha. They are in the middle of a move and today was the first day in the new building. It looked like one big construction site.

I was asked to photograph for a shoot with a theme for a school
assignment. It was my first real photoshoot with styling and a model
with people I had never met before. It was quite an experience and
they were both so lovely! :)
About the photos, it's based on this painting. If I remember it correctly it's based on a women who is a
sorceress and changes men into animals with magic. The first photo is
the remake of the painting and the second one is the idea of taking
the concept in the modern day life.

"Big adventures in a little world"
This idea didn't work out as I wanted it to. This project is starting
to get really frustrating.. >__< Especially for a perfectionist
like me.. I wish I could do it over or that we had some more light
these days. Anyway I hope you guys like it.

Definition of the soul; the spirit or immaterial part of man, the seat of human personality,
intellect, will, and emotions, regarded as an entity that survives the
body after death.
The definition of the soul is something different for everybody, I
think. I'm fascinated by it and that's why I wanted to make this. It's
your soul that makes you, you. Not your body or your pretty face.

It was so foggy and I didn't really came up with an exact idea for
today. So when Tim and I headed back to my home we stopped nearby a
forest and I took some photos there. And we actually saw a real deer!
Obviously with my 50 mm lens I couldn't really capture it, it was way
too far away too see properly on a photo. (close-up unedited photo) So we got really lucky to see a wild deer, but I'm just unlucky that
I didn't have the right lens haha.
Anyway I got inspired to do something with a deer involved the
picture. And I had to think of Harry Potter and the whole patronus
stuff. :) I'm pretty happy with the result although the original photo
is just pretty crappy and it's more photoshop than anything else and I
want to focus more on photography. Well, tomorrow is another day. :)

"Blowing the cold wind through you"
Today was uhm.. let me say.. quite an experience haha. I went to Tim's family and I had to take a picture somewhere nearby outside. I found this pretty awesome loacation with a stable with horses. Of course I wanted to see if there was a house nearby from who this area was, but the surroundings weren't locked or anything and there wasn't a house nearby. So Tim convinced me to go and make my photos here. And guess what? After a few minutes a car stopped and a man came out of the car who was pretty angry because I was taking pictures and he thought that I was doing something bad I guess? I tried to explain what I was doing and I apologized and out of nothing he went off. It was so weird and I got a bit scared haha. I'm not good with dealing with angry people. Anyway I guess it was worth it.

When nature and wisdom comes together
A really busy and frustrating day. I'm at Tim's house so it was quite troubling to get some ideas of what I wanted to photograph today. I don't have all my stuff with me, so I found some things here that I love, like the mirror and that book that I found at the attic. Next time I should plan ahead. Also my tripod is falling apart so I didn't dare to take it with me. T__T Hopefully I will come up with better photos tomorrow because I'm not really glad with the results of today. I just practiced freelensing again. Tonight I will have sort of a family dinner, I hope it will be fun. See you tomorrow! <3

I think it's a fun, but challenging project. I have to figure out how I'm going to complete this at the days that I've planned something, for example, school. It's getting dark really early these days so it will be tricky. I really hope I can finish this and finish it proudly. It's going to be a learning experience. I hope the few readers that read my blog will follow me, it would mean a lot to me if you will! <3 Also, I kind of have a photography wishlist. Things that I'm going to search for, for photo shoots. - smoke bombs (coloured) - astrostar lamp - vintage clothing, especially hats and other accessories. - flowers - blankets - candles - toys - feathers - models hahaha and probably much more stuff.  week 33: This week was pretty awesome, we had a weird but awesome friday night. We went to a concert from one of our friends with his band: PAUW. week 34: Boring, boring, boring week. I can't even remember what I did. The only two positive things this week were that I got my Lush and H&M order. Oh and now I know, after this week I got broke! xD week 35: FINALLY! Tim and I went to the cinema to see Brave! When I heard of the concept I really wanted to see the movie, but I always procrastinate.. XD I'm so glad that I saw the movie. And the best thing was that we had the whole cinema for ourself! :D  week 37: My week began good, my little sister turned 14 years old! I made a nutella-oreo cake (I made a post about it) and in the middle of the week I got a throat infection, yay. I've seen and drunk lots and lots of tea with honey. week 38: This week was my first Saturday that I had school. On the photo you can see the entrance of the school. They made 3 walls with all kinds of paper drawings from students, made with charcoal and/or chalk. week 39: Excuse me for my bitchface! lol. We were just awake for 5 min. (I was in a hurry because I almost forgot to make a photo for this week and I had to go to school that day) I wanted to take a photo of us together because we were 5 years together that Thursday! And Tim got a new job this week! Double yay! And believe me, I was a lot happier than it shows on that photo! :D Finally an update again, I know, I know.. I'm lazy. I should update this more often. I almost forgot to make a photo this week, oops. It has been raining like crazy today.. So I've been inside where it is nice and warm hehe!
    
Blehhh, this is making me unhappy. I hate rainy days. But on the other hand I also heard great news (well for the Lushies out here!) Lush has updated their website with Halloween Retro stuff! Woohooo! I would love to go in bad with some Lush goodies right now. Perfect for this gloomy weather, right? ;) Anyway I need to control myself right now because I want to do one big order, so I have to wait for the other product first! >w< I will probably show you guys my wishlist soon hehe.
